"The witness consciousness is a powerful skill — a faculty of attention that doesn’t come naturally. It must be developed. Standing back and watching your life as if it were a movie". I have not heard of this term before but can strongly empathise with the theory. Recently I came up with a quote with a similar conviction. "Notice what no one else notices, and you will know what no one else knows." Like you say in your article, you can apply this to being a better person and helping others but more than that I think if you stand back and see not only your life but everybody else's life and everything else that goes on around like a movie, you can apply this same principle to everything! I've found that you can understand so much through this theory. It's like if you develop this skill naturally for everything, you can find that happy life you're looking for, that resolution to problems, that ability to overcome fears. What a powerful thing the mind is. Like they say...it's all in the mind.
